This is a Agreement between KC Laundry and you, an individual for pickup and delivery wash and fold laundry services. You are purchasing a prepaid wash-and-fold membership contract for the length of time you selected. The following terms of service apply to your membership and your contract:
Liability Disclaimer: KC Laundry Service is not responsible for your laundry items bleeding, shrinking, fading, or otherwise becoming altered or worn by the normal wash and dry fold service. We will take reasonable precautions against known problems. You agree that KC Laundry Service may refuse to launder an item and send it back unwashed with an explanatory note, if we think it will become damaged or damage other items. KC laundry Service assumes no responsibility for items labeled hand wash only, hang dry / dry flat, do not use heat, dry clean only or other special care instructions.
Credit Cards: I agree to pay above total amount according to card issue agreement. All laundry turned in to KC Laundry Service by an authorized user of that account will be cleaned and any extra pound charges and dry cleaning charges will be added directly to this account.
Damaged Items
Taking care of your garments is our number one priority. We strive to provide exceptional service. While we are very cautious to treat all garments carefully, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. We cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls. Kc Laundry Service liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed five (5) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition. Any damaged items must be reported and returned to Kc Laundry Service for inspection within 5 business days.
Lost Items
Any lost item must be reported within 7 days of the delivery of the garments. All claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Items are considered lost twenty (20) days after the initial claim has been made. Any reimbursement for a dry-cleaned item deemed lost by Kc Laundry Service, in accordance with the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide, shall be limited to ten (10) times the charge for treating the garment. Any wash and fold items deemed lost shall be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but in any case reimbursement for lost wash and fold items shall not exceed five (5) times the price of the weight of the wash and fold load.
Loose Items
Kc Laundry Service shall not take responsibility for any loose items lost when submitted in a Kc Laundry Service bag, such as watches, jewelry, or cufflinks. We request that customers remove these items and empty pockets prior to leaving items with us as we cannot be held responsible for damage to your garments from items left in pockets.
Inventory
Kc Laundry Service reserves the right to keep records of your garments and retain, store, display or reproduce such records which may include images or photographs, and associate such records with your name or other profile information for commercially reasonable periods for archival, inventory purposes, quality control, loss prevention, and or data collection.
Turnaround Time
Service days and turnaround time vary by location. Kc Laundry Service will make its best reasonable effort to return clothes within 24 to 72 hours of drop-off; however, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service.
Pricing
In any discrepancy between printed and online pricing, the online posted pricing will be applied.
Discounts, Special Pricing & Coupons
Discounts, special pricing and coupons are not combinable. Only one will be applied per order unless specifically stated in writing by Kc Laundry Service. If two are available and not combinable, the greater percentage discount listed of the two will be applied to the order.
